About Arts in Progress
Arts in Progress is a Residency Showcase by National Ethnic Arts Inc, that opens a stage for the artists to bring their original work of various artistic disciplines such as Music, Dance and Theatre.
Who can apply?
Artists of all disciplines such as International Music, Dance, visual artists can apply.
We prioritize Full-Time Artists and Artists who identify themself as Woman, BIPOC, LGBTQIA, in our selection process.
Is there a fee?
No, the registration is free, however we encourage if artists would like to like to donate to help the community through PayPal / Zelle to nationalethnicarts@gmail.com
What to expect at the Showcase?
The Artists of Various disciplines exploring their original work in their given slot of 20 minutes, followed by a panel discussion with the fellow artists that evening, QA's and a brief meet and greet with the audience.
Rehearsal space and Volunteering.
For every Arts in Progress showcase, we will be able to provide 4-6 hours of rehearsal space per week until the show, for an exchange of volunteering during the other artists' showcase in house management, box office, theatre management, Sound and lighting, production, pre-production etc.,
Registration
The Arts in Progress continues to accept application for the next showcases, with 2 original showcase and 1 ethnic showcase each for about 20-30 minutes. Please fill in your details in the form and wait for us to review your application and get back to you in a couple of week after the registration.
We would like to see a mix of Arts in each showcase and for those who were not selected on the current showcase that you applied maybe prioritized for our future showcases.
